How I Begin Again
Degree
‘It all got a bit too much. Everything is seeming to be a bit too real.’
This work externalises internal experiences that are often invisible or difficult to articulate, through self, text and fragments of nature.
Distortion and disruption within the work is an unravelling of what was once held together. The distort is not to obscure but to reveal: the fractures, the silence, the truth, the pain. It echoes the jagged beauty of healing, the uneasy grace of survival.
This is how I trace the shadows that shaped me. This is how I begin again.
